Harvested Tee

RV Designs free crochet tee pattern, harvested tee.

Sometimes, when I do design work for magazines or yarn companies, there is a hank or 2 left over from the sample. Sometimes the publisher or yarn company want it returned, sometimes they don’t. It seems there is no rhyme or reason to it, it is a “sometimes” issue as no company seems to have a hard and fast rule on it. In the case of this deliciously golden cotton, I ended up with a few hanks in my stash.

Lucky me– stash enhancement, lucky you– new pattern!

Neck edge

Rnd 1:  With RS facing, using sl st, join new yarn at shoulder seam, evenly sc around the body of stitches around to center neck point. To keep this from rounding and in the shape of a V-neck, after completing sc around body of first tr, be aware when making sc around next tr and do not let the stitch get loose. Give a gentle tug on the yarn to snug it up, if necessary. Continue to evenly sc around stitches to end, do not turn.

Rnd 2:  Sc in ea sc around to 2 center neck point sts, leave these stitches unworked, skip to next sc, being careful of tension, sc around to end, sl st in first sc of round to join, fasten off.
