Splitter, knit cowl pattern

splitter– beautiful zen knitting

Yes, yes, yes! You read that right. Here at RevelCrochet we are also a fan of knitting. Especially when its quick and easy. The Splitter Cowl is truly easy enough for a beginner. I know ALL knitting is just a combination of knits and purls, but this is a simple rib- in the round. So, while yes, its a great piece for the beginner, Splitter is a treat to knit for the seasoned stitcher, as well. It was such a joy to just sit and relax, have a zen moment and work my yarn. Nothing complicated to count or worry about–– great for commutes and wonderful to have on hand for gift giving! 💝

It’s always a journey! I’ve started writing a design diary. It is the chronicling of the day to day process and silliness of designing each piece. This one has been in the books for… well, a while. Read more in the journal.

about the yarn

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth saying again, the soft and squishy factor for the King Cole Timeless Chunky is NEXT LEVEL!

164 yd [155 m]/3.53 oz [100 g]), 90% premium acrylic 10% alpaca.

The amazing drape of this cowl is largely due to this yarn. The alpaca gives the yarn a dreamy next-to-skin softness and the gorgeous halo you’d expect from a yarn 3 times the price.

Overall- Oooo La La!
