The Reyelle crochet wrap is a dual-function accessory piece that will span the seasons. It can be worn around the shoulders as a sweet accent for a light warming. Or wrap double around the neck to buffer winter’s wind.
Choosing a bamboolinencottonsilk will keep the wrap cooler for a warm weather cover up.

A mobius strip is formed by attaching the ends of a strip together with a half-twist. It creates “a surface where one cannot consistently distinguish clockwise from counterclockwise turns”. It’s a fun bit of mathematics that creates a lovely shoulder wrap. That’s about as in-depth on the technicalities of it I can go. But don’t worry, I’ve created a photo tutorial that is provided (both digital and pdf).

the skills you need

The stitching ability you need for creating the Reyelle is beginner level. A stacked dc may be a new stitch to you, but if you can sc, you can make this. And of course, I’ve made a video tutorial for ya! The most difficult part of this wrap is creating the mobius twist. But, YAY! tutorial 😘 (available on both digital and pdf patterns)

  • understanding of gauge (read this to learn why & how to)
  • experience reading a pattern
  • ability to read a pattern with minimal -or- no photovideo tutorials
  • understanding of the use of asterisk(s)parenthesesbrackets
  • basic stitchesstitch combinations
  • working in joined rounds

Remember, I am always around in the facebook group to help out. 🥰

The yarn used for the sample shown has been discontinued. But there are a few yarns that I think would work beautifully for the Reyelle. Also of importance The yarn shown is listed as a #1│very fine│fingering weight. However, I found it to be on the ‘heavier│thicker’ side and if I were to make Reyelle again, I would choose a yarn from the #2│fine│sport weight category.
